**NEW STUDENTS ARE WELCOME!***
Hello! My name is Olga and I am a bilingual native speaker, with a B. A. degree in English Literature and two Master's degrees in English and American Studies. I was born into the family of a trading entrepreneur who'd emigrated from England to Russia to establish his own multi-national business. As a result, while growing up, I learnt not only English which was the language spoken in the family, but also Russian which was the language of the country I was born in. Later, my family moved to Israel which is where I lived for 15 years but, as I continued to advance my education, I also lived in the United States (Berkeley, California) and Europe. As a result, in addition to English, Russian and Hebrew, I also learnt a bit of Italian, German and Czech.
Naturally, due to my academic background and my professional experience as a private teacher, I have acquired pedagogic skills and teaching strategies which not only enhance the effectiveness of online lessons, but also help create a highly interactive learning environment. Some of them (such as the Communicative Teaching Method, for example) are aimed at more advanced students and help maximize their "talk time”, while others employ games and activities that create a pleasant learning environment even for the youngest of my students.
Needless to say, I am a very patient teacher. Coming from an international background myself, it is very easy for me to understand the challenges faced by anyone learning a new language. Seeing my students' progress is what motivates me the most, which is why I always try to make my students as comfortable as possible and do my best to explain difficult material in simple ways. Together, you and I will create a program that works best for you, focusing on the areas you need help in the most and build your grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation so that you can speak the language with complete confidence in any setting.
