I am Ryan Sullivan.
Born in 1982 in South Africa and currently living in London, England.
My education includes studies in the arts and entertainment sector. Courses include sound engineering, music theory, music production, music business, marketing and management and most recently, teaching English as a foreign language.
My teaching experience includes tertiary institution (HET and FET) facilitation as well as 1 on 1 face to face and online tutoring of students in the subjects of music, audio production, sound engineering, and music business. My students have predominantly been young adults and I have a small amount of experience teaching children.
I like my teaching environment to have a casual feel, to be relaxed and encourage confidence and freedom of expression among students. I believe that the more a student expresses themselves, the more they exercise communication, they make errors and correct them early on in their development and that allows people to grow rapidly and naturally as they develop the required skills within their chosen discipline.
My passions include all things music-related, entrepreneurship and fitness activities such as surfing, climbing, and capoeira as well as travel.
I truly look forward to assisting the growth of others while also gaining new experience in teaching English as a foreign or second language.
