Welcome students, don't look back, look forward! My name is Charlie and now is the time to book a trial lesson with me.
With a focus on the British English my lessons include a brilliant selection of teaching materials and activities, 'tried and tested' throughout the past 3 years teaching English in Europe.
My lessons are taught with care and attention with use of an online 'whiteboard'! My whiteboard is interactive, visual and so much fun. I will teach you:
-British English Pronunciation
-Vocabulary improvement through exciting activities
I have a BA in International Development with Advanced Spanish so I understand the difficulties students have when learning a new language.
My love for languages is seen in my dynamic and creative lessons where i want to help students learn about my language as well as to share ideas about our cultures. I have traveled to Greece, Bulgaria and Argentina on hitchhiking trips and hope I can one day go to other countries. My next trip i hope to go to Georgia, Armenia and to China along the Silk Road.
I am currently an English Teacher at this language school based in the countryside. Here i teach beginner to advanced English to adults and also teach members of the school itself. My lessons here are focused on business English and preperation for CAE examinations. Lessons have sinced moved online where i now have a diverse arsenal of teaching materials and methods.
2015 - 2019
BA International Development with Advanced Spanish
I worked as a Camp Counselor whereby my job ensured the responsibility of six 14 year old children and to help them from breakfast time to putting them to bed at night. I coordinated the whole group of children, whose first language was Hungarian and as their leader I created games and activities which were ranked in the final days of the week. As an English teacher, this was my first conventional experience in a classroom. I was teaching two classes of 13 children between the ages of 10 and 15 whose language level was B1 English. Classes took their form in activities and I discovered my own methods of creative teaching; most usually that which involves painting and mixed media. Success, my first class project created over the week was ranked ‘2nd’ in the competition.
