Hello. My name is Elena. I am from Ukraine. But my native languages are both Russian and Ukrainian because I have been speaking mostly Russian since my childhood. I also speak English and German fluently and it helps me a lot on my lessons when I need to explain smth to my students more clearly. I like to travel a lot, meet new people and learn new cultures. That's why I have enough of interesting topics to talk with my students. I consider myself as a patient and thoughtful teacher, at least my students tell me so because I am ready to explain the same thing 20 times or listen to a student the whole lesson while he is trying to pronounce Russian sound. I really care about my students!
During my lessons, I try to use as much as possible conversational practice implementing new grammar constructions, new words and phrases. But first of all, I take into account my student's needs, if they want to learn fundamental grammar, or prepare to an exam or just improve survival language for tourism. In each of the lesson, I use a wide range of materials and different kinds of exercises: oral, written, audio, video. Besides of this, I work on the pronunciation of Russian/Ukrainian, that's why I always pay attention to the correct stress, correct intonation making my students sound similar to native speakers.
