My name is Brian. I'm from the United States, but I currently live in Buenos Aires, Argentina. I have two years of experience teaching English to learners between the ages of 6 and 55. I have worked as an English teacher in a primary school in Madrid and a high school in Buenos Aires. My lessons are focused on getting you to speak "real" English. I want you to feel confident expressing yourself in your new language, whether that's in a job interview, at an academic conference, or in a hostel with other travelers from around the world.
My English teaching philosophy is simple. I want to be the kind of teacher that helped me most on my language learning journey. I aim to create an encouraging and comfortable environment where you feel free to make mistakes, ask questions, and leave your comfort zone. Whether you are preparing for a professional business interview or simply want to better understand U.S. slang and pop culture, we will work together to define your specific language learning goals and design a learning program to help you achieve them. You shouldn't just think of me as a professor, but rather as someone who is invested in your linguistic development and is accompanying you on your journey to fluency. Lastly, I pride myself on being an interested, curious, and multi-faceted person, which means that if you're excited to talk about a topic, I am too!
If you're interested, feel free to reserve a session and we'll get started!
