Hello,

I am Joseph Stincer, American living in Spain. After completing my University degree, I decided to join the Peace Corps and began my English teaching career. I have been an English professor for Emlyon Business School as well as a private tutor for almost ten years.

Personally, I like to focus on keeping the conversation going no matter what is going on. Students should be fully engaged and our conversation should happen easily. I see myself more as a coach than a teacher in many ways, as I am coaching you to success by correcting you when you need to be corrected and guiding the lesson for you to achieve your highest language goals. It is my job to serve you, and the needs that you have are important to me. Learning language is like art, there is some of it you like and some you do not. I like to try and make the not so fun parts (such as grammar) into games and fun learning by doing in order to leave a lasting impression of rules as well as a good impression of your class.
