Hello everyone! My name is Phil and I am a qualified native English teacher from Sheffield, Yorkshire. I love meeting new people, laughing in lessons, and helping students to improve their English. Teaching English is the best job in the world!

I have over five years of experience teaching English for exam (Cambridge, Trinity, IELTS, TOEFL & Aptis), conversation, and business (finance, meetings & marketing) purposes, plus I have been teaching English online for over two years to a smorgasbord (word of the day!) of students from all over the world: beginner - advanced, 8 - 84 years old!

As a CELTA and Masters (PGCE) qualified English teacher, I believe that communication is the best way to improve a language. My lessons always include lots of speaking and listening, with a focus on pronunciation and native expressions to help you sound like a local! Alongside guided self-study to develop your vocabulary and reading & writing skills, you will achieve your goals whilst having fun.

Whether you want to pass an exam, develop confidence in the business world or communicate with friends, I can help you to improve and I guarantee we will enjoy the journey. See you soon!
