Hi, my name is Travis. I'm a native English teacher from the US. Over the last 6 years, I've taught students in many countries all around the world in primary and secondary schools, language schools, privately, online, etc. I've worked a lot in the last couple of years training professionals and helping students prepare for university exams. I'm also pretty fluent in Spanish and German as I've now been living and teaching in Germany for over two years.

My Teaching Style

My teaching style really depends on the student. I've worked with students on every subject, including: business, testing, general speaking, listening, writing, grammar skills, and so on. I have materials and explanations for just about everything.

In general, I like to connect to my students as friends - this makes learning a lot easier. It's sometimes surprising how important this really is to student success.

This is why for SPEAKING & LISTENING, for example, I like to use a lot of discussion questions on several topics, grammar points and testing formats as a way of getting to know you and your learning style.

I also work with students on their WRITING - sentence structure, proofreading, emails, testing... you name it. I have great materials for helping you to improve your writing.

For BUSINESS students, I also have many books, worksheets and exercises that we can work on together to prepare you for any situation. Or we can just talk shop and work on your communication skills.

Or maybe you're just looking for help with GENERAL ENGLISH - we can focus on any topic. I've helped my students with everything from writing a PHD paper on oral implantology to planning their holidays in foreign lands.
