***I will be teaching on Verbling until 31st August, but before that I can offer classes over summer, including intensive speaking practice, academic and exam preparation, and work on academic writing.***

I am a TEFL-qualified English teacher based near London in the UK. I have experience teaching English to adults and high school students in the UK and China, as well as teaching experience at university level (in anthropology). I believe in tailoring lessons to the specific needs of my students, and have a relaxed, informal style of teaching. My aim is to create a learning environment which makes students feel comfortable, and can help build their confidence in using English. I am happy to teach students at all levels, focusing on general communication as well as language for specific purposes, such as work or academic study. I have experience helping students with academic English and writing, and welcome people who want to focus on this. I welcome students to study with me on Verbling.
