Բարև (bar'ev)! Hey there! Welcome to Verbling. My name is Shushi, and I am an Armenian teacher. I study at the American University of Armenia in the faculty of Cultural Studies and Communications. Since 2019, I have been teaching Armenian and helping my students to enrich their language skills. I have worked with 50 students from different cultural backgrounds. Currently, I am working on a video course for complete beginners in Armenian. Not to forget, I worked as an English teacher with Russian students for two years. As a teacher, I am very patient, and flexible. We will always find a convenient time slot for you. I know how difficult and challenging learning a new language might be, and I try to make the process as enjoyable as possible. My Lessons & Teaching Style I've developed my student-centered learning methodology. This means that I adjust the materials to the needs and interests of individual students. My students have the freedom to choose or to add their preferred...
Բարե՛ւ։ Parev! Hello! I am Armenian Lebanese born and raised in Beirut, one of the most multicultural cities in the region, which is why I grew speaking four languages (Armenian, Arabic, French and English), Armenian being my native one. I’ve found my passion in life: keep Armenian, specifically Western, alive. This is why, after having my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, I decided to follow a Normal Teaching Diploma program, where I learned methods of teaching a language. While doing this program I interned in an Armenian school in Lebanon, as an Armenian language, literature and history teacher. I also have 2 years of experience in teaching Western Armenian online. Recently I moved to Armenia, where I enrolled in a masters program: Armenian Studies (Language, literature, history and culture). I believe that a teacher must have these three types of knowledges: Pedagogical (teaching techniques), content (Armenian language professional knowledge) and technological knowledge. In my...

Hi there! I'm a native Eastern Armenian speaker from Yerevan. I have a Master's degree in Applied Linguistics and I have experience in teaching both English and Armenian. I love teaching and what you do with pleasure is never forgotten. In my opinion there's no use in teaching a language only with the traditional methods, of course, they are the core of language teaching, but combining the new techniques of teaching with the traditional ones makes the lesson more effective and motivational. I organize debates, discussions and various games to make the lesson more interesting and to boost my students' speaking skills and comprehension. Armenian is one of the most ancient languages and belonging to the Indo-European languages it has its own unique branch in the language tree. It has a different alphabet. In my opinion every language is a challenge which opens a new world to the one learning it, and Armenian is not an exception! My classes are always organized according to the needs...
